Terms of Service

Last updated: July 11, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Fix My Ride (“Fix My Ride,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including our website at fixmyride.space and any related software and services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. The Service is currently offered on an early-access basis and may change as we improve it.

What Fix My Ride is

Fix My Ride is workflow and management software for mobile mechanics and small automotive shops. It helps you manage customers, jobs, estimates, invoices, schedules, messages, and related records. Fix My Ride is not an automotive repair provider. We do not diagnose, service, repair, inspect, or warrant vehicles.

Your responsibilities

You and your business are solely responsible for the services you provide to your customers, including:

  • All diagnoses, repairs, parts, labor, workmanship, and warranties.
  • The accuracy of estimates, invoices, taxes, and payment collection.
  • Obtaining consent from your customers to store and process their information in the Service and to send them messages you initiate through the Service.
  • Compliance with all laws that apply to your business, including consumer protection, automotive, tax, employment, messaging (such as TCPA), and privacy laws.
  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials and the activity that occurs under your account or workspace.

Diagnostic Copilot and AI features

The Diagnostic Copilot and any other AI-assisted features provide suggestions to help you think through a job. They are informational only, may be incomplete or incorrect, and are not a substitute for verified service information, OEM procedures, or the professional judgment of a qualified technician. You are responsible for independently verifying any recommendation before acting on it.

Accounts and workspaces

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. A shop workspace may include multiple users under roles such as owner, manager, and mechanic; the workspace owner is responsible for how their team uses the Service and for the data entered into the workspace.

Subscriptions, trials, and beta access

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically for the interval you selected until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Trial and beta-access offers may be time-limited, feature-limited, or withdrawn at our discretion. Except where required by law, fees paid are non-refundable.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others.
  • Upload content or send messages that are unlawful, harassing, fraudulent, deceptive, or infringing.
  • Send unsolicited marketing or spam through the Service.
  • Attempt to access, disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service, its infrastructure, or other users’ accounts.
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service as a service to third parties without our written permission.

Your content

You retain ownership of the data you enter into the Service, including customer, vehicle, job, estimate, invoice, message, and diagnostic information. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that data solely to operate and improve the Service for you. You represent that you have the necessary rights and consents to submit that data.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logos, and content we provide, is owned by Fix My Ride and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you by implication or otherwise.

Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party providers such as Stripe for payments, Google for sign-in and analytics, and messaging providers for email and SMS delivery. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any data will not be lost. You are responsible for maintaining your own records where you need durable copies.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fix My Ride and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars, whichever is greater.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Fix My Ride from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your content, your services to your customers, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Service or its users. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify the Service and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to these Terms we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after the changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
